Code of Conduct

From time to time we may provide interactive services on the site (such as message boards, forums, chat rooms, weblogs, profile pages, social networks, photo albums and other message and communication facilities), giving you the opportunity to submit your own Contributions to the site

We want all visitors to this site to have a safe, interesting and friendly experience. Accordingly, all users of the site and all Contributions must comply with this Code of Conduct.

The Code of Conduct applies to all users of, and visitors to, the site and supplements and forms part of the Website Terms. Your use of this site means that you accept and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.

We may need to revise the Code of Conduct from time to time by amending this page. Please review this page regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes we make as they are legally binding on you.

All Contributions must comply with the following standards. Please comply with the spirit as well as the letter of these standards.

Contributions must NOT:

  1. Include any material that does not belong to you. You may be entitled to incorporate into your Contribution certain material made available on this Site but only where that is expressly made clear. Otherwise, all material in your Contribution must be your own original work or be fully cleared for use by the owner or holder of the rights to the Contribution.
  2. Infringe anyone else's rights, including copyright. Your Contributions must not violate, plagiarise or infringe the rights of any third party including any copyright, database, trade mark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights of any kind.
  3. Contain unlawful or objectionable content. Material that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, offensive, abusive, hateful, inflammatory, profane, racially, sexually or religiously offensive or otherwise objectionable or unlawful is not acceptable.
  4. Involve disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour. Contributions must be constructive and polite. They may not be contributed with the intention of invading anyone's privacy, of being threatening, abusive, offensive, upsetting or embarrassing or of causing trouble, annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.
  5. Promote illegal or anti-social behaviour. Contributions must not contain violent or sexually explicit material or advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) terrorist acts, copyright infringement or computer misuse.
  6. Misrepresent their origins. Contributions and/or user names may not be used to impersonate any other person, to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or to give the impression that they emanate from us, if that is not the case.

If you reasonably believe that any Contribution contravenes this Code of Conduct and/or any of the Website Terms, please notify us using the "Report Abuse" button.

Breach of the Code of Conduct

It will be our sole decision as to whether there has been a breach of this Code of Conduct through your use of the site. We have the right (but not the obligation) to edit, refuse to post, or to remove the Contribution in whole or in the part that we deem to be in breach of the Code of Conduct. Where we believe that you have breached the Code of Conduct, we may take whatever action we feel is appropriate in the circumstances.

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct constitutes a material breach of the Website Terms, which could result in us taking any of the following actions:

Issuing a warning to you;

  1. Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use the site, including deletion of any personal profile;
  2. Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you to the site;
  3. Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach and/or further legal action against you; and/or
  4. Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities or other relevant third parties as we reasonably feel is necessary.

We exclude liability for actions taken in response to breaches of this Code of Conduct. The responses described in this policy are not limited, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.
